The motif on the new Moomin mug is from Tove Jansson’s series The Moomin Troll and the Martians from 1957, which was later also released in part four of the series album with Moomin series. On this nice mug you can see a very small Martian who got lost. The radio warns of a flying saucer approaching land. The saucer lands surprisingly in the Moomin family’s garden. The Moomin troll decides to hide the lost Martian, who is also wanted by the police. The Martian and the Moomin Troll speak a common language with the help of The Magic Box.
